Frozen Steak Fries In Air Fryer
Frozen steak fries in the air fryer are come out hot and crispy with a tender middle. A fast and easy side dish or appetizer that can be cooked in under 15 minutes.
- 1 bag frozen steak fries
- 1/2 teaspoon french fry seasoning, seasoned salt or salt optional
Place frozen steak fries in the air fryer basket. Spread them out in a single layer so that they cook evenly.
Cook at 400 degrees F for 6 minutes. Flip the fries and cook another 6-7 minutes at 400 degrees.
Carefully remove the french fries from the basket. If seasoning, sprinkle on the fries while still hot.
These fries cook straight from frozen. No need to thaw them.
Cook time may vary depending on the air fryer and how crispy you like your fries. If you prefer more crispy fries, add an extra 2-3 minutes of cook time.
Frozen fries are precooked in oil so they don't need any extra.
Make sure to toss or flip your steak fries halfway through cooking. This helps them cook evenly.
If you are cooking the whole bag, I would recommend cooking in 2 batches.
