Cinnamon Pretzels

Cinnamon pretzel bites can be made easily at home in 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 16.3 oz can biscuits
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/4 cup baking soda
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Icing dip

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Remove biscuits from the can and cut each biscuit into 4 pieces. Roll each piece of dough into a ball.
  • Boil water in a large saucepan. Add in baking soda. Drop dough balls into boiling water and cook for 30 seconds. Remove with a slotted spoon and place on lined baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl mix together beaten egg and 1 tablespoon of water. Brush egg wash on top of boiled biscuit dough. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the dough balls turn golden brown.
  • Stir together sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Dip baked pretzel bites into melted butter and then roll them in cinnamon mixture.

Icing dip

  • Stir together powdered sugar, milk and vanilla extract in a bowl.
