Air Fryer Hard Boiled Eggs

Ingredients

  • 4-6 eggs
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Place eggs in air fryer basket.
  • Set temperature to 260 degrees F and timer for 15 minutes.
  • Remove eggs and place in a bowl of ice and cold water. Let sit 5-10 minutes.
  • Peel and enjoy.

Notes

  • Each model of air fryer is slightly different. I have found that this time and temperature works well but I would suggest testing 1-2 eggs to make sure the center is cooked to your preference. 
  • If you like a slightly harder yolk try 16-17 minutes, if you like slightly softer try 14 minutes. 
  • Don't worry if you have little brown spots or bits on your eggs. It happens to me even if my air fryer is super clean. If you are using these for Easter eggs, wipe them off after you remove them from water bath. 
  • Don' forget the ice bath so that the cooking process stops and also allows the egg contract and pull away from the shell making it easier to peel.
